whilst lurking around the internet, latching onto the latest news concerning the Beckham's move to LA [as you do. no? just me?!] i came across a relatively little known mobile phone company, Vertu, manufacturing luxury handsets for 'individuals who only accept the best'. intruiged, i paid a visit to the Vertu website, hoping to be amazed by their stunning array of luxurious phones, and to be honest, i am not impressed at all. whether you want a handset encrusted with diamonds, or one that celebrates the classic racetracks of the world [???] they have it. the only problem is, collection after collection is a set of highly disappointing, ugly 'phones' that i can't imagine anyone wanting to show off. let alone pay such an extortionate amount of money for! which leads me onto the price. A Vertu handset will set you back about £5000. they are such ugly little things! well actually, they aren't even that little. compared to say, a Motorazr, which is about 4900 quid less and a lot more sleek, the Vertu handsets are a joke. No wonder they are so little known. See for yourself, the crapness that is Vertu http://www.vertu.com to be honest, i prefer their website to their phones!
